“Sureeee.” He chuckled, stalking out of the house. Soon I was in the hallway, slowly climbing up the stairs, dragging myself to my bedroom. I could hear from a distance everybody going back to their morning routine. The seniors fighting over which program to watch and the twins making themselves breakfast. A moment after, June joined me up and just as I sat down on my bed, she closed the door behind her.
“Are you sure you're alright?”She started, making her voice soft.
“I think so. But still it's a lot to take in less than fifteen minutes.” I replied rubbing my face with my freakishly cold hands.
“I guess it must be. You know Vee and I were raised knowing it all, so we could be prepared for it. We've been taught to see this as a gift.” She continued as she lied down on her bed. Which made me think I wouldn't want to face the nightmares just now.
