I slowly slid myself up in a sitting position before pulling the Iv's out of my arms. Soon a noisy green alarm went on and two nurses were by my side.

Please don't do that!” One of the nurses asked as she shoved the Iv back into my arm while the other one blinded me with a small light, pulling my eyes lids back so hard I couldn't stop crying. I slowly felt like this was just a nightmare, I wasn't really awake and was just imagining the scene after too many hours of watching House, Scrubs or Nurse Jackie.

 

Did anybody come for me?” I asked pointing at the vacant chair.

 

You mean that tall guy and the blond girl?” One of the nurses asked as she moved down to my leg removing the gauze in an unpleasant way.

 

The tall guy what did he look like? Was he the one who brought me in?” I quizzed trying not to stare at my flaming red wound.

 

Yep that's the one.” She answered tapping a new bandage to my leg before closing the green curtain behind her and leaving me alone trapped inside the bright square.

 

So Vee hadn't come, though he promised. Our fight had been nothing, if I was ever to compare it to what my parents would say to each other this was microscopic. A speck. But if it had really been nothing why hadn't he come? Had he been injured? Couldn't he find me? Had I been that hard on him? Now I thought about it I'd been kind of harsh, bitchy even. And so as I went through my mind trying to find one thousand reasons why Viktor wasn't here I suddenly realized something wasn't right, the room was too quiet which made me nervous.
