Hello people it's been a long time!

International day against homophobia

I'd like to inform you that Moira's chapter 8 is out and ready to be read!

As you can see on the sidebar it is the last chapter. However, following it,  will be an epilogue concluing the adventures of Moïra.

I'd also like to remind you that you can always check out my Myspace page and listen to full samples of my Dark Sunsets [EP].

On another note you haven't forgot that tomorrow 17 may is International day against Homophobia ?

 Peace Out

Hello dear readers,

We welcome you back after the 10 day break with lots of new stuffs!

First of all, you might now notice that when arriving on the main page www.DISCARDEDteenz.com the website has been revamped :

We are constantly working on making it better and softer on the eyes so it's not too difficult to roam around the site.

Also Chapter Five is now out with A LOT more action and complications.

Our heroes: Moira, Vee and a few other students find themselves in quite a dangerous situation, and secrets are to be revealed !

I won't say anymore because it is for you to find out, but please, - I beg you - do feel free to comment on the book, and download it!!

Also now that the new MUSIC section is up and soon enough (we're still working on that) the EP will be available for purchase !

That's all for now, :kiss
thanks for all the views, lots of love,

Marine.

The story

posted by emm on January 16, 2010

The book is about a 17 year old French-American Indian teenage girl who has spent her whole life moving all over the globe. But one day without any notice, she is sent back to her roots to discover more about the tribe she comes from, the Makah People (northwestern tribe settled in the Continental US). Soon, she discovers that the boarding school she has been shipped to isn't for normal everyday studies, but for teenagers who are gifted and able to control natural elements. So as fate tests her, Moïra finds out she too can connect with the elements and is even more powerful than she could ever imagine.

The Story Behind the Book

This isn't supposed to be an imitation of any famous fiction teen novels out there, this story actually means a lot to me, I feel a connection to Moïra, as she is a bit like my alter-ego. She is a girl full of sarcasm, jokes, she has an attitude, and, let's not forget special powers ! She's a bit like a superhero with more wit and charm than you can handle.

Read online:

Chapter 1: Sunset's and Super Nova's

Chapter 2: Ice Salt Water

Chapter 3: Sparks

The book itself has been in progress for 6 months & is now nearly finished ! Only a few chapters left to write (one or two ?) ! And though it's still fiction, it has been an amazing research experience (being based on existing geographical situations & groups of people). This is my first book, and English is not my first language, although I am still hoping for a bestseller. I've done my best to make it the most awesome, meaningful and entertaining story I could !
